This may or may not work, let me know!

This only applies to the 64bit version of kJams!

If the symptom is that searches are failing to find songs that are definitely there, or when you double click a song, it plays a different song, that generally means that the SQL index is somehow messed up. Try this:

  1. make sure you're on the very latest kJams
  2. in the File menu, pick "Save Database as 32bit"
  3. quit kJams
  4. in the file system, navigate to the "kJams Library" folder, (it is inside the "kJams folder")
  5. inside the "kJams Library" folder, locate the file AND the folder that both end with ".ksql", put BOTH the file and the folder on the desktop or somewhere safe (in case you need to restore them)
  6. run kJams

kJams will now rebuild your database and re-index everything. Let me know if it WORKS!!

If it makes things WORSE, just restore the ones you set aside previously (replacing the newly created ones)
