get the bugfixed rogue build from here.

  1. gather the song pair (kdn + mp3) (optionally multiple pairs if doing a batch) into a single directory
  2. optionally add the "kjamstest.txt" file, which contains metadata for all the songs in the directory (you remember the format?)
  3. run kjams and add the directory of songs to kjams (drag and drop or file->add to library)
  4. go to kjams->preferences
    1. in "exporting", choose encoder "MPEG 4", preset "H.264 Best HD", frame rate 15 (or 30 if you want smoother, but test it first and if you can't really tell the difference, pick 15 to save space and time). All checkboxes should be OFF. Export Template should be "L-R-S", which stands for "aLbum-aRtist-Songname", but you can change that. Ask me if you need more variables to conform the exported name to your needs)
    2. in "producer", check "use 16x9 aspect ratio". Intro Template should be "KDN Intro", outro should be "KDN Outro". I don't think there IS a "break template" so just leave that. My min pre/post gap, and page fade are all set to 0.10, justify is 0, but this lets you enter an offset to get wider lines to fit on the screen. Probably check the "start intro screen early", but leave other checks off.
  5. Show the "Label" sort column. Here's how to hide/show columns.
  6. for each song, set the label color to what you want for the splash screens (intro / outro). Red will result in "Party Tyme Magenta" color, and blue will give you "Party Tyme Cyan" color. Other labels just use the kJams label colors. Let me know if you want other colors.
  7. now select the song(s) you want to export and right click->export quicktime, or file->export->selection as quicktime.
  8. if you need to tweak a song for some reason, you can use Producer to edit it directly. Don't forget to SAVE (command-S) your work. It's especially fun to change the label color with producer open, and see immediate results.

All of the above can be scripted so you don't need user interaction to have it work. Let me know if you are interested in that.
