Full QuickTime Export Options

You'll be able to set a preference that brings up the real QuickTime Export dialog. You'll be able to choose your compressor, so when you export, it uses that compressor instead of the current Animation compressor. Note: this also means that the Lite version will be limited to ONLY m4v export.

Import and Play any QuickTime movie type

Import ripped LaserDiscs or DVD's, MIDI files, kar files, or any .mov file that QuickTime supports. Play them just like it was a CDG, put them in playlists, or whatever.

Better iPod Integration

This is for exporting to your iPod in one easy step. Your iPod shows up in your sources list inside kJams. Now simply drag songs to the iPod, directly, no exporting, no converting with QuickTime, no need to go thru iTunes, just drag and drop right inside kJams!

iTunes integration

Your entire iTunes library shows up INSIDE kJams. So you can do filler music between karaoke songs, picking audio from your iTunes library, all without leaving kJams. It will show up in the source on the left. Treat them like regular kJams tracks, use them in playlists. no video (until I also do the "play any quicktime type" feature)

Independent Streams

Enables multiple play streams, so you can cue up one song while another is playing. Also allows crossfading between karaoke songs, or crossfading between karaoke and filler songs (that have no video). Also, export quicktime while songs are playing, export multiple quicktimes at once.

Encode with OGG Vorbis

pretty obvious, make Ogg Vorbis an encoder choice for ripping audio. (video still rips to CDG)

Burn discs with Pre-bent pitches

Pre-bend your songs on discs you burn to take to shows, so you don't have to remember "was this up 2 or down 2?"

Write in (add your own feature)

did I miss something obvious? Be sure and post it to the forum as a reply to the poll!
