kJams needs your help!

I'm looking to "hire" a marketing & sales person to help get the word out and drive sales.

kJams is a labor of love, so it doesn't make enough to actually pay a salary, so here's my proposal:

You get to keep half of the money made by your efforts, every month, for 12 months. So if you increase sales from what it is now by $4,000 per month, you get to keep $2,000 per month! The more sales you drive, the more you make!

Would you be interested in this? Are you already really good at marketing & sales? Do you love kJams? If so, please let me know, and we'll talk specifics!

  • You’ll get a starting advertosomg budget of $1,000, and a continuing advertising budget of maybe a couple hundred more per month, but we can negotiate that. (this is not pocket money)
  • You must be self-driven: motivated to make this happen and willing to put in the time (which may not actually BE very much time each week)
  • You must KNOW what to do and HOW to do it without any direction from me (cuz i have no idea what to do). ie: it’s not your job to TELL me what to do, it’s your job to DO it.
  • You can use whatever methods you deem best, including posting on Facebook if you think that helps (i have doubts about that but i’m open to being convinced), taking out ads in dead-tree publications, or online somewhere, as long as you know you’re not throwing money away (as you know advertising can be a black hole)
  • you must have EXPERIENCE doing these kinds of things, and a record of being successful!
  • you must have a passion for karaoke
  • you’re marketing to professional DJs who want to do karaoke, to KJs using old hardware, to KJs using other software, and to home users who want to throw parties
  • be willing to give a scrum report on every day you do some work, which answers these questions: "what i did, what i'm working on, what i need help with"

Now, i’m making all this up, so one of the things I also expect is that you’ll help educate me on how this all works, and also whether i’m going about this all wrong!

Remember: The more money you can bring in, the more you will make! :D

Okay so please let me know your thoughts! Show me that you are the one that will hit ALL those bullet points above! I look forward to hearing from you!
