All of these options have to do with controlling the music: volume, pitch, tempo, etc.

Play/Cue to Play/Stop Use these options to start and stop the music.
Next/Back Jump to the next song or back to the previous song.
Sync Slipping See below
Remember Song Volume This option allows you to set the volume on a song and then save that volume for all of eternity. The next time you play the song, kJams remembers the correct volume.
Save Trim Start Time This option allows you to skip over the intro to a song. Select this option while the song is playing to tell kJams where the new start time is.
Save Trim End Time This option works just like the one above, only this trims the end of a song. Again, select this option while the song is playing to tell kJams where to stop playing.
Volume Up/Volume Down/Mute These options control the volume of the song you are playing.
Mic Up/Mic Down/Mic Mute These options control the volume of your microphone.
Suppress Channel Vocals To suppress vocals on your CDs, try these options. Be aware that you cannot suppress vocals on music you purchase via the internet.
Tempo Faster/Slower/Original Use these options to slow down or speed up the music, and also to return to the original tempo.
Pitch Up/Down/Original If the song you are playing is in the wrong key for the singer, these options allow you to take the pitch up or down, depending on the singer.
Eject disc If you copy music from a CD, use this option to safely eject the disc.

Sync Slipping Options

These options allow you to synchronize the graphics to the music.

Global Slip The global options allow you to slip the graphics forward or backward for ALL songs in the library. This is useful when you are, for example, playing audio through USB speakers or over the network. Global Slip Back and Global Slip Forward move the graphics in predefined increments, or you can specifiy the exact timing with the Global Slip Seconds option. Global AirfoilExplain airfoil???
Song Slip Back Choose this option if the graphics are ahead of the audio.
Song Slip Forward Choose this option if the graphics lag behind the audio.
