Learn to chant Sanskrit the easy way: with kJams!

I've put my two loves together! I used kJams Producer to make karaoke versions of some sanskrit chants, WOW totally awesome! Note: the two songs below are only samples, not the whole song. If you want the whole song, buy the disc!

To hook up the CDG and MediaStream files:

  1. go buy the disc!
  2. rip the two songs above, using kJams.
  3. clear your cache (preferences->audio).
  4. select one of the songs in your library, and go File->Show Originals. This will reveal a folder with CDG and MP3 (presuming you're ripping with MP3, could be AAC or something), or a folder with Zip files (if you zip your rips).
  5. if they're zipped,
    1. unzip them
    2. drop the CDG into the folder (replacing) and re-zip (replacing).
  6. If they're not zipped
    1. drop the CDG over the other one, replacing. It must have the same name.
  7. Drop the corresponding .xml files into the same folder as the zip (if zipped) or as the CDG (if not)

If that's utterly confusing, let me know and i'll walk you thru it on the fone or with screen sharing.
