Kjams -
Love the software - however I'm missing a lot of music specifically several Sugarland tunes which I should have.
I'm downloading from a hard drive - is there something I can do to retrieve this missing music??
Second question - I believe I have several duplicate songs (from attempting to retrieve music from problem #1) is there a way to delete the duplicates?
Thank you for your help.

Missing Music and Duplicates
Re: Missing Music and Duplicates
well without knowing what you did i have no idea. but i can say that songs go missing typically for one reason only: you moved the song file AFTER kJams added it to the library.I'm missing a lot of music ... which I should have.

i don't think "download" means what you think it means.I'm downloading from a hard drive

i think you mean "copy", right?

either rebuild your library from scratch, or put the files back where they were before you moved them, or use the "symlink" trick.is there something I can do to retrieve this missing music??

Thank you so much for the input - and yes download was a poor choice of description.
I don't think I moved any files - and I'll definitely give symlink a try. If that doesn't work how do I "rebuild" my library.
Thank you again.

Re: Missing Music and Duplicates
the symlink trick is only useful if you moved your files after you told kJams where they were. what you should do is confirm this first by looking at the "missing" article.
