Where is Database saves

I'm such a noob, Ok when I save the database where is it saved? When I save it as XML I can't read it, so how do I read the XML file and be able to print it out? Thanks in advance!

The database is saved in the file:
~/Music/kJams Music/kJams Library/Songs.ktd

however, the database is ALSO distributed among each file as an xml file next to the song.

Why can't you read it? it's text. xml is for database programs, not for humans, however.
