I wish you wouldn't have moved this. In context: If I do a Thunderbolt drive, how am I supposed to get Video out, considering I use the Thunderbolt PORT for VIDEO OUT...

sorry, seemed like a completely new topic to me. but i see your point, it IS related to using a TB drive.

many ThunderBolt peripherals have a daisy-chain port on them. you would eg: plug the drive into the TB port on the computer, then the display into the *second* TB port on the drive.

AHA...I did not know that. I will look into making sure the drive has that capability since they don't make TB hubs yet...
