I just purchased the Pro version of the Windows Version of kJams. My friend who has the Mac version inspired me to try it out, and after seeing how great it was, I looked for PC alternatives (my mac is a PowerBook...too old), but most of the other programs weren't very good. I found the Windows version of kJams and tried it out, and it worked pretty well, while it's not yet like the Mac version, it still blows every other pc Karaoke program out of the water.
I got things set up pretty well, added a venue / singer, have been using the Virtual Audio cable program linked to from the Wiki for my Mic, all working well.
I still, however, for the life of me, cannot figure out if I'm doing something wrong, or if this the Windows version does not yet support this. I just can't get the server running. I have a router, and I've already allowed port 12345 access through it, as well as allowed that port, as well as the kJams app and the qtserver.exe access in my Firewall. I do have another public server on this network on another computer, but it is running through port 80, so that shouldn't clash with kJams, right?
I tried installing xampp as well on this computer and I can access it from other network machines, so clearly the connection works.
I am using iJams on my iPhone, and it doesn't find the venue, and when I enter the hostname and venue name in manually, the app just hangs for a while before telling me that it couldn't find the venue.
Does anyone have any ideas? I can't think of anything else that it can be (other than it isn't in the Windows version yet, and I just have to patiently wait

Anyways, please let me know, thanks.
