OS X Lion

Post by monpine »

I'm sorry if somebody asked this already. I looked through several pages and couldn't find a similar topic, but maybe I just overlooked it. Anyway, will kJams be compatible with OS X Lion when it is released on Thursday? I really want to upgrade, but DJ every Friday night at a karaoke bar and cannot live without this software. I'm sure an update would be coming, but I don't want to upgrade to Lion until I know for sure that kJams WILL work. Thanks in advance for any answers you can provide!

Yes, fully compatible with Lion. Tho I have not done extensive testing, all seemed to work just fine.

Has anyone had time to use Kjams extensively on Lion yet? Any issues?

only encoding audio to, or exporting to, MPEG4 doesn't work (apple's fault)

Likely the same issue, but can't export as Apple TV, iPhone or iPod either since I've 'upgraded' to Lion. Will watch the page to see if all are fixed when mpeg4 is.

yes, AppleTV, iPod, iPhone etc, they all use AAC encoding, which is the codec that is broken.

The link to the Lite Mac and Pro Mac version from the Rogues page is reporting HTTP Error 404.
