Loading Songs on to Mac

I am buying a lot of music which I want to use on my Mac with Kjams. I read in the docs that I should place all of the music in a separate folder on the Mac for access by Kjams. I will be uploading it from a terra byte portable Hard drive. Should I purchase KJams Pro first? How should I proceed with loading my music? Thanks.

Be sure the music has lyrics. For example the "karaoke" that iTunes sells has no lyrics. Use the built in music stores instead. You do not have to buy first. Btw when you say "upload" I think you mean "add to library"
