Duplicate Songs

Post by heresmike »

Is there a way to make a song list and not have duplicates included?

Alright, now what does "strict" and "loose" mean?

strict will match the album name, loose means album names don't have to match.

I see. So you would use the strict setting if you suspected multiple rips of the same disc.

The loose setting is the one I need.

You know, I'm going to include a request here before I forget it, only because it's so close to this topic. How about a "Best" column, so we can highlight/check what we feel is the best version of a particular song?

So does that mean the Cull option will automagically delete mults?

nothing is deleted unless you delete it. all these things do is make lists of existing songs.

cull will copy all but one into the playlist, leaving one behind.
