Re: kjams QuickTime needs to be installed. Error -2093
the contact page (use messaging) will be quicker, this isn't a simple fix:
https://karaoke.kjams.com/contact/
QuickTime is supposed to "just work". If it does not there are a variety of reasons i'd have to look into.

Re: Song too quiet
it IS possible to set the volume of a particular song to something > 100%, which is dangerous cuz it can blow your speakers, when you play a maxed out regular song.
better to re-encode the audio of that one song to have a "compressor" or something that normalizes the amplitude.
if you must know ...

Re: How do I combine different apostrophies?
there is no "replace" feature built in
BUT: you can search for them, then use copy-paste into a spreadsheet, and THERE do the search / replace. note: it's dangerous.

Re: Creating a CD-G
kJams Light or Pro, with the Burning plug-in, is capable of creating a CD+G from original CD+G digital files. kJams 2 can do it as well and does not need the Burning plug-in because it is built-in.
I would be very surprised to learn that Final Cut is capable of burning a CD+G disk, I think it burns ...

Re: Karaoke Disks
I'd only trust it if it said "CD+G" on it. In my experience, "Karaoke" doesn't mean "CD+G", when printed on a CD.

Re: Upgrade to which applications folder
yeah, that'd be nice but not possible given Apple's security restrictions.
macOS already requires that the user do the actual drag-install, so they can answer any security prompts, there's no easy way to 'run an installer' to get it to put it where the previous copy was. at least not without tons ...
