Update: The issue was unrelated to an update of kJams. What happened was the drive letter had changed. you can change it back to what it was by using the administrative tools.

did the drive letter of the external drive change again?
to fix the bad ID3 tags, click the explain button

if you click the "find it" button can you select it on the external drive (the "kJams Music" folder) ?

thought I got it rebooted and got the same message, went to find it and click on kjams music and it opens up and starts working, will I have to go thru that process each time I open kjams?dave wrote:what was the problem?

Dave I ripped a couple of CD/G's well you did one the other night, and now they are gone or it gives me the pop up saying cant find, is their another step I am missing, I think they went to the Cache and as I sang more songs they would not play any longer, the activity window said they were being ripped,
I did a search and found them at My Passport (F)>Kjams>Kjams music, so why don't they play? another thing my Acitivity window does not come any longer, it used to when I brought up the program.

i don't know what changed since i set up your computer, it was most certainly working when i left it. I'm willing to do more phone tech support, but you'll have to call me during office hours.
