Negative Playing
Negative Playing
I've just got the latest Sunfly 285 and two of the tracks play in negative, I've checked the disc on a PC and they play normal. Is there something I can do to make them play normal on the mac.
Re: Negative Playing
first: what does "play negative" mean?
second: send me the song via email so i can quickly look at it
third: use "rip to bin/cue" and send me the bin/cue files. use my

Re: Negative Playing
I've sorted it out but when I said negative the colours were wrong and the words only showed up as they were being sung. I cleared the Cache that was 1.2 GB and when I re-added the songs to the HD and then added them to kjams they played OK. Don't know if it was coincidence but it was the third time I'd done it and each time the tracks played badly
Re: Negative Playing
do you mean that the song files pre-existed on some external hard drive? ie: they are not songs you are ripping from a CD+G disc? yes?when I re-added the songs to the HD and then added them to kjams
do you mean "the first two times" instead of "each" ? "each" would mean the tracks STILL play badly.it was the third time I'd done it and each time the tracks played badly
Re: Negative Playing
I exported the the songs as Quicktime from a disc and then added them to the library. all played OK except for two tracks that played badly. I then deleted the two tracks from the HD and re-exported the two tracks from the disc. The tracks still played badly. At this point I thought there was something wrong with the disc, so before complaining to the shop I bought the disc from I checked if it would play on my PC, It did play fine so then I started this thread. Then whilst I was waiting for a reply I checked kJams again.
I then cleared the cache, re-exported the two tracks, and they now play OK.

Re: Negative Playing
using kJams? why would you do that? why don't you just rip them into the library directly? you're making something that is one step into something that takes five steps, plus you lose the original format and must forever work with a lossy copy that kJams can not edit, and you can never burn them to disc.I exported the the songs as Quicktime from a disc
I recommend you start again, this time just rip the songs directly, no quictime involved.
