Crash on 'push metadata' with files from Karaoke Locker

Feel free to post bug reports here. I need exact, detailed steps showing me how I can re-create the bug on my machine, so give as much info and detail as possible.

Crash on 'push metadata' with files from Karaoke Locker

Post by Fairyoke »

This is my problem (as posted in the wrong thread.)

I am excited as well and I don't want to be a downer but can anyone make sense of these new zip archives? First, I was getting stuck in a loop of extracting .zip / .cpgz and repeat and repeat and repeat. When I got that open, there appears to be a "NoName" .mp3 and some .txt files. Can I somehow make those .txt into a .cdg file and zip them up, Tricerasoft style? All I really wanted to do in the first place was remove the "in the style of" part from the artist but kJams crashes when I try to push the metadata.

Anyway, continue celebrating for a while. Just, someone please lend a hand in this matter eventually.

Thanks
Jim

Further info, upon request, is this:

The ones I tried to rename and push metadata to are Beastie Boys' Sabotage and Talking Heads' Psycho Killer. The Talking Heads song crashed kJams but the Beastie Boys just didn't work. It appeared to have worked but the change was not actually made (I checked by rebuilding the library.)

Oh, and perhaps unrelated but maybe it is important:

Songs seem to download just fine but I don't see a progress bar like downloading Tricerasoft songs.
