r25 reading all kJams Music folder files as corrupt

Post by MikeHL »

Hi. Like most of us that have opened kJams in the last 24 hours or so, I updated to r25. However, my r25 was doing something quite strange. It refused to play any .zip files in my kJams Music folder. No matter what disc it had come from, every single file I tried to play (and I tried about 20 of them) would not play because kJams thought it was corrupt.

They're not corrupt, of course. :? My r24 had no problems with them (and neither did any of the previous revisions). Problem solved for now by deleting kJams, re-downloading r24 and going with that for now. Awfully curious, though.

Fixed, thanks to much effort and patience from Dave. Rarely has anyone I've seen been this diligent in working with a released product. Excellent work, as always!

the trouble happened when adding support for the Sound Choice music store (from Karaoke Locker). I added support for mp4 files, but in the unzipper code i messed up a bit, so if you had zipped MP4+G files, they would fail to load. It is fixed now but it didn't make it into tonight's release. Look for it in the next release, or bug me and i'll email you the update early.
