cd rom drive not compatiable?!

i have a new macbook pro with a dvd rewritable drive and kjams is telling me its not compataibe?!

where can i get a cheap external cdg drive?

Yup. 90% of drives do not support CD+G. It's like expecting a CD player to play Blu-Ray discs, the hardware just isn't capable, there's nothing you can do in software, you need a new drive.

okay i can not find a drive, i seached for the ones on the page and it shows this as the formats, is one of those the same as CD-G?

Reports are that the Lightscribe drives work. I personally found a Plextor drive on eBay that I use (PX-716UF). Works great.

In order to completely confuse you, LightScribe drives do not advertise that they can do CD+G. But they can, rest assured.
