Recording in garage band

Post by Brendan »

I'm playing with Garage Band and trying to record. Everything is fine except that when i try to record, the video screen dissapears? if i press record while the movie track is highlighted, it says i cant record on this track, so i highlight the vocal track and the video dissapears. Help!

Hiding the 'Details' view in the Info pane of the audio track makes room for the video. Thanks guys! I was freakin' out over here :)

My pleasure to help!

I wrote 3/4 of that page in the wiki after going through the same troubles
http://www.kjams.com/wiki/Recording

I encourage anyone with any amount of writing skills to contribute to the kJams wiki. It's quite rewarding. If you've never edited a wiki page, it's WAY easier than it looks.

To get started, go to www.kjams.com and click on the "Main Page" link on the left.
I know... it's confusing, because it feels like you're already ON the kJams "main page".
The link takes you to the "how-to / quick-start" wiki.
Set up a password, and now you can edit.
