Fix to stop resetting the SN every time I work on my mac?

Hi,

I sent a frantic email to Dave at 2:30am, requesting, for like the 7th time, to reset my serial number. I don't have $ for new mac, so I buy old ones and fix/upgrade them. But every time I swap my kjams hard drive into a new machine, or reset my pram to solve a serious issue, my Kjams Pro goes back to "tryout". Usually not a huge deal, but I have a serious gig in 11 hours, and I've promised them "bookless browsing and signup" with my fancy new kjams server. Now I can only have 3 singers signed up. after that, I'm screwed. ugh, such a great program , I just wish it didn't hate me when I'm under the hood.

If anyone knows of a file I can save, to retain the SN next time I'm playing paddy cake with the kernel, that'd be swell.

remember, if you have an emergency, and need a new serial number or reset, then, if i'm away for the weekend or otherwise unavailable, you can always just temporarily buy a new license, and i'll ALWAYS refund you regardless, no questions asked, and get your old activation fixed, when i get back to the office..

yes, your serial number is tied to your computer, so if you change your computer, it's hard drive, networking card, or some other things, your SN will deactivate, this is normal, how eSellerate works. sorry, i know it's a hassle for those of you who futz around under the hood, but there's not much i can do about it.

i could put in a thing that lets you manually un-activate (freeing up your activation yourself). but you'd have to have thought ahead and done that BEFORE you futz around or move to a new computer, cuz there'd be no way to deactivate on the NEW computer (cuz to deactivate you have to be activated, obviously).
