DELETED PRESET PLAYLIST

Post by naguiar »

Hi!
I deleted the “Corrupted Files” preset playlist and I don’t know how to or if I can recreate it =(
It has been extremely useful and I need it! Please help me!!! How to I get it back?
When I select my library and I go New preset playlist, the Corrupted Zip Files playlist is gray.
Thanks in advance!

well, of course you keep a backup of your computer, right?
really, you should. if you're on a mac, there's no excuse cuz TimeMachine is so durn easy. so, set that up.

now, if you do NOT have a backup, you'll have to regenerate it. there's currently no automated way to do that. you just have to play your songs and the corrupted ones will go into the "Corrupted Files" playlist.

IF your meta data is perfect, you can do a "push meta data" on all your songs, and that is the most automated way to get that. but it's very time consuming and does way way more than just asking if the file is corrupted.

Okay, having said all that:
in the NEXT release (tonight), the "New preset playlist" function WILL work. it will STILL be very slow, but will operate as expected. Note: do not do ANYTHING else while this is running. Make sure your Activity window is EMPTY before you start!
