update

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

update

Post by simpmech »

Dave,
I see you have released an update. Awesomeness :) I am curious now if my problem is mine alone or if there is still some work being done with the chartbuster/kjams. I have presented the issues I am having in detail here and to Todd via email, but have not received a direct response on the issues. I realize these things take time to work out the bugs, but if it's something on my end then chartbuster and I need to troubleshoot I suppose.
Any incite is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Derek

yep, i've confirmed this problem is still happening. the chartbuster servers still have bugs, sorry folks. "works for me just fine" clearly doesn't mean "it works for everyone".

i'll be pressing them on monday to get this resolved.

Just tried to stream again. I see they have not fixed the issues. Still getting user ID wrong message, subscription tier still says none and my credits are still at zero.
Any word from Todd on their progress to date?
Thanks,
Derek

do you mean you did the "always trust" on the cert, and then it started working? or what, exactly?

I actually did just that Sunday. But for some reason I got no change in what had been happening earlier. I did the cert again like in your post, copy and paste my ID number etc. and yea, it all worked. It actually showed my subscription as being "kj/dj" & my Charbuster credits are now showing up as well.

I've streamed a few songs now, and the only thing I see is that when the song is over, it wants to que up the "sample" on line and play a short excerpt as if I was clicking on it from the library to view it before I purchase it. Not a major problem as for now we just exit out of it immediately once it pops up.

that's if you stream it directly in the music store. what you want to do is drag the song into a playlist, play it from there.
