MacBook Pro Microphone Question

Ok I need some help here. I can't get my Mic sound out to my TV.
I have a new MacBook Pro. It has Video and Audio out via the mini-display port(MDS). It also has audio in via the line-in port.

Everything hooks up fine. The Mic is a Nady wireless kit that plugs in directly to the line in jack. It VU meter registers in the system preference's sound panel.
Kjams plays perfectly via the MDS adapter. Just the Mic is not playing out or on the macbook pro.

Any ideas why the Mic is not blending in?

you have to select it in the kJams audio preferences

but frankly i recommend you use GarageBand or Audio Hijack. Much better, plus effects!
