Hi, just downloaded KJam and is absolutely loving it. I have amass tons of Kar/Midi files and KJam renders them so well(as long as the original midi arrangements have been done well)
However, many of the files include a rather loud "vocal" or main track that tends to compete with the singers' voices.
Is there anyway I am able to adjust indivdual channel's volume and other attributes? I know that I am able to do this in an external midi editor but it would awesome to be able to do it on the fly within KJam itself.
Adjusting individual Channel in Kar/Midi files
Re: Adjusting individual Channel in Kar/Midi files
No, kJams wasn't *really* designed to do MIDI, i tacked that on as a kindof nod to the home users but really MIDI is far inferior to actual Karaoke (produced with a real band by a music label), so I just haven't invested much time into it, and i'm not going to.
So yeah, you'll have to edit each file that has this problem using some external editor (my fave is EasyBeat, but seems it has disappeared from the face of the planet)
Update: try Aria Maestosa
