Where did my CDGs go?

Hi,
I'm running kJams lite 1.0d51r35 on my Mac. I used the Add to Library function to add my songs, and all my cdgs disappeared. At some point I needed to deleted the library. Then I readded the songs. Unfortunately, the cdgs disappeared. Do you know where they went? They vanished right out of the folders and subfolders of my directories.

please don't ask about old versions of the software.
the first thing you should always do is update to latest, and see if you're still having trouble.

Hi Dave, I didn't upgrade to the latest version for no real good reason. I just happened to download the last version. Unfortunately this last version deleted (or moved?) all my cdgs right out of their respective folders. Thousands of them gone. I can't use the new version because right now all my files are worthless. Can you please spare a few moments of reflection of the last version to help me out with my problem?

i can personally guarantee that kJams did not move or delete your files. kJams doesn't do that. there is no bug in kJams that can allow that.

The only way that's possible is if you told kJams to do it, and you have to tell it really, really hard to do that, as kJams will give you very scary and dire warnings before allowing you to delete your files.

and you can always use the new version. please use it regardless of the state of your library. I just can't help you unless you're using the latest version of kJams.

UPDATE

I just loaded the newest version of kJams 1.0d51r39, and the songs that were missing the cdgs, are still missing their cdgs. I can't relink the song, because there is no cdg to be found.
