Consolidating

I tried to consolidate the songs that I had ripped with the songs that I already had (on an external HD) using the instructions in the Wiki. I tried to rename the kJamsConsolidated folder to kJams Music (instruction 11), but kJams couldn't seem to find the songs. When I renamed it back to kJamsConsolidated and did Add To Library, it appeared to work. All of the songs appear to be in the consolidated folder. Songs that were on the external drive play OK. However I have tried playing a few that I know that ripped recently and I get the message that kJams can't find the song. When I am given the chance to locate the song, I can successfully add that song (one at a time).

My question: Is there a way that I can locate ALL of the "ripped" songs automatically?

i swear those directions actually work. get me on iChat and i'll have a look at what you did and we'll figure out the missing piece!
