Corrupt Tricerasoft download

Post by gsteffens »

I bought a Sugarland song (It Happens) from Tricerasoft store in kJams store and it ended up corrupted after downloading and attempting to play it (bug or just bad network connection). I received an email from Tricerasoft about 45 minutes later which allowed me to download it again but I'd prefer that kJams do the download instead of having to import it using Add to Library. Is there any way to get kJams to "re-download" the file so that I don't have to worry about the saving the downloaded file location?

Thanks

hmm, yeah, this was such a rare occurrence i didn't bother adding that functionality, but i think you're right it should be in there.. definitely a network problem, for example you *should* get the receipt email ONE minute later, not 45.

so, no, right now you have to manually download it and place it somewhere on your hard drive where you will never move it again, then add it to the library

Thanks, I am planning on Moving to an external drive setup for "Music Plus all Library Settings" and was trying to avoid having to use "the Easy Hard Way" method. A feature similar to iTunes - Automatically Add to iTunes folder would be great! Anyway, another bit of info that I forgot to mention was that while the file was downloading I played a different song in my Library. Is this okay to do or should I have waited for it to complete the download?

it should be fine to be doing whatever you want while downloading.

if you have external music that you have "add to library"-d, then you can not avoid the easy hard way
