Choose Name Format question.

I have enjoyed looking around this site (very professional and informative).

I am trying to get as much info as I can before investing in new hardware and your software.

I came across this screenshot.

The problem is I don't really understand any of it. :oops:

Do you have a link that explains what settings would be used at this screen?
