Trouble editing key commands

Post by dizzidecazz »

Hi,

I tried to reassign key commands for song slipping. I want to use apple-left/right arrows. I opened and editied the keyboard.txt file as per instruction.

here's what i changed the commands to:

"Menu/Controls/Song Slip Back" = "a-0x64";
"Menu/Controls/Song Slip Forward" = "a-0x65";
"Menu/Controls/Song No Slip" = "ca-0x64";

I relaunched kJams but alas, they don't work and neither do the default keys.

btw: I'm using a MacBook Pro, not a full keyboard.

Any help is appreciated

Diz

delete the key shortucts file, then re-run with the LATEST version. THEN edit it and change these:

"SubMenu/Sync-Slipping/Song Slip Back" = "a-0x64";
"SubMenu/Sync-Slipping/Song Slip Forward" = "a-0x65";
"SubMenu/Sync-Slipping/Song No Slip" = "ca-0x64";

note: there's already entries for these, make sure you replace them
