transposing and saving/burning

Just talk about kJams stuff with each other, describe things you did that worked, talk about your setup, anything that doesn't fit into the other forums!

transposing and saving/burning

Post by cstanyer »

Is it possible to take a track that I have ripped from a sunfly cd, for example, transpose it down a couple of notches, and then either a) burn the track back to a cdg disc or b) save the mp3+g file of the transposed song so that if I was to use it on another, far inferior, piece of software it would already be in my key?

(REASON - I sometimes visit another karaoke night where the KJ hasn't got the ability to transpose, and I haven't got the ability to reach certain notes - which reminds me I must make time to find out where that Karaoke in Stockport is that Len runs)

yes, just set the pitch and burn it to disc.

if you export to quicktime it'll also preserve the pitch that you set.
