I ripped my SCDG discs into KjamsPro and I notice the PLI numbers are organized but the track numbers vary. Should I individually renumber my tracks to keep them sequential? For example I have multiple #1 Track numbers from different discs and am thinking it is better to have all my track numbers sequential. Then again, it wouldn't make much difference as long as I use PLI numbers, that are changed to track numbers, when printing song lists. Is there a way to reorganize the entire Library so the track numbers are sequential without having to manually change them one at a time? And so that all PLI numbers are the same as Track Numbers? How do most people deal with this?
Note: When downloaded songs are added to the Library, they are not assigned a Track Number.
Great program by the way! I love it!

Re: PLI and Track Numbers
I'm not sure why you even care about track numbers, they're supposed to refer to the actual track numbers of a CD. you don't change them. PLI is strictly for use by kJams, and may change from run to run. There's no reason at all to keep them in sync. When printing song books, don't bother with numbers cuz there's no point when a search is so simple (song numbers are a leftover from the days of physical discs).
if you totally insist on having a song number, then you must use "Song ID", that number is assigned and will never change. however you can not assign a number yourself.
most people deal with this by not caring about numbers any more

Thanks. I'm a new KJ and learning the basics. I appreciate the reply.
