hi I am looking to get kjams lite.
My girlfriend and her friends like to sometimes have a karaoke night once in a while. They are using an old beat up old karaoke machine. I am hoping to purchase kjams and run it on my imac, I am hoping to use my LG soundbar as the speakers, the soundbar uses bluetooth and I can stream from my imac. I am hoping to use a usb to phono jack adaptor for the microphone. will this setup work? also can i use a spliter for the microphones or will i have to use usb slots if I us 2 microphone?
Thanks
will this set-up work?
Re: will this set-up work?
the only problem with that setup is in using digital audio for the microphones.
with digital audio, there is unavoidable latency, and it will be worse if you use bluetooth. but try it, some people are really bothered by the latency, some people don't seem to mind. (personally, i mind).
what you REALLY want is an analog mixer, and plug your mics and computer into that, then plug the mixer into the amp/speakers.

I have a lot of extra sound equipment available if you need something.
