burn - file not found

Post by randyj »

cleared cache (2 times)
ripped 2 tracks from 2 CD-G
deleted the other old tracks from the playlist "Audio CD"
click Burn (shutter/circle thingy)
"There was an error setting up your burn: File Not Found"

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any ideas!

Update:
tried again under a different user. Same result.
More detail:
it goes through some tasks (unpacking MP4 etc.) before giving the error.
But tried it again with a different song
(rip, wait, type metadata, create playlist, title it, drag song to playlist [pointer changes to "alias"] , click BURN circle-shutter thingy)
and this time it gives the error immediately (no tasks come up in the window)
"There was an error setting up your burn: File Not Found"

:?: Q: is there a log I can check to see what file it can't find?
