Planned Setup Apple TV - Before I buy

I am contimplating a possible setup for a home karaoke party. If the KJams software is similar to iTunes, can it also stream audio / video to the new appletv like itunes? I was contimplating installing the software on my mac and pushing the audio / video to my apple tv where I can then send it to my mixer etc. I could pull the karaoke dvd player out of the loop and be able to KJ without switching discs etc. etc.

I would like to avoid having to have my Macbook anywhere near the karaoke stage...

no, kJams won't push to your AppleTV, but you CAN convert your library to QuickTime, then load up all your songs in iTunes and push them from there. that means you're using iTunes to run your show, however, not kJams.
