can I keep all my cd+g exclusively on an external hd?

Hi was thinking of running karaoke/Kjams on my macbook pro (with os x)... I dont have alot of hard drive space. Can I just keep my cd+g files on an external hard drive or do they have to be stored on my macbook pro hard drive?

I think you are complexifying this.

All you need to do is get all your songs on the external drive, and then drag the drive image onto kJams. kJams will import every song on the drive.
You are now done.

the "complexify" lets you not have to rebuild your library. you're talking about rebuilding from scratch, which may not be what they want to do

I took them saying "I was thinking of running kJams…" as meaning that they were not yet running it, so in that instance, the easy path would be to just save the files on the external, and import from there.
