Re: audio not working
i'm on xp. trying to change output to 44/16 bit.
Re: audio not working
huh, well i looked and i don't see a place where that can be set. sorry you'll just have to wait for all the bugs to get squashed, then the first thing i'm doing is making it able to use your system sound setting, instead of requiring 16 bit stereo.
Re: audio not working
I'm not sure if this applies here but on Win7 there are two options in Audio Settings for Set Default, one for Device and one for Communications Device. Kjams wouldn't play until I set a Default Device(as opposed to Communications device).
Re: audio not working
can you send me a screen shot of that?
Re: audio not working
Sure, np....sent.
Re: audio not working
all i got was a "winmail.dat" file. i need a PNG or JPEG please. i'm on a mac, i only "do windows" for kJams
Re: audio not working
Sorry about that Dave.... I am so used to pasting images into email instead of attaching them. I resent the email with a png attachment this time so hopefully that will work better. Let me know if you need a different snapshot of the audio control panel for demonstration purposes.
Re: audio not working
however, all these crazy requirements will disappear today anyway, as i've rewritten the kjams audio driver to simply use whatever device you have selected as your default, using whatever settings you like, rather than forcing you to use 44k 16bit stereo.
coming soon: the ability to select your preferred audio device in the kJams prefs
