Re: Possible to Record?
Did I mention 300kb?
Re: Possible to Record?
300kb once << $300K per year, which is what the band/studio/engineers cost. or something.
okay back to work now.

Re: Possible to Record?
Now you're being silly.
I said earlier in this thread that I use G/Band and I use it because I upload some singers to my website (that recently has been neglected) I have plans to put the words on the web with the singing for them all soon. I've only done it a couple o times but when I did it, it did look good. Plus G/Band comes with all new macs and I can get support if there's a problem. I use G/Band 08 not G/Band 09 because it's easier to make it take less room up on the desktop.
When I first uploaded the singers to the web I used to put a 10 second clip up and the if the viewer wanted to listen to it all they would have the option to download it, which meant I needed to edit the track, and I used G/band to do that. It really does depend what your going to do with the track as to which program you use. Now if I'm recording just to play back at the venue I use Quicktime 10 that takes hardly any room on the desktop.

Re: Possible to Record?
Well, if you are going to use GarageBand, might I suggest SunFlower. Then you can record your vocals on a separate track to your background music, and remix once you get home! (At least theoretically!)
Re: Possible to Record?
I've just tried audio recorder and found it to be quite nice to use and the ability to play from the finder is great. I can also add the track to G/Band to fiddle about with it so I might give it a try soon. not sure about another app like SunFlower cos I don't think I'd wanna be playing about withe the track to that extent. I might try it when I'm not so busy for when I've got divas in
