Post-disposing disc event que

When I quit kJams, the program starts to quit and then freezes leaving a window on the desktop with the message, "Post-disposing disc event que".

I left it with the message on the desktop for about 1/2 hour and I had to force quit to close the lappy down.
The 1st time it happened I got the message kJams not responding in the Force quit window but I re-opened kjams and closed it down twice more and got the same "Post-disposing disc event que" window but the force quit window didn't show kjams not responding

does this happen every time?
next time it happens and it is still "responding", run this script, which will crash kJams, then send the crash report.

It happened 5 times but the last time I quit, kjams closed fine.

you will get that error regardless, ie: if you successfully crash kJams, you'll get the same error.

but if kJams was hung and "not responding" then this script won't work, just use force quit (cmd-opt-escape).

Tried to send a crash report but nothing happened

the first question is: is kJams "not responding" before you run the script? if it is "not responding" then the script won't do anything. get it?
and what, exactly did you "try" when you "tried to send the crash report"? i mean, if kJams never actually crashed, there's nothing to send.

kJams was not responding according to the force quit window. It was hung for over an hour.
When I re-opened kJams I clicked Help/Send Crash Report

I've not had to force quit the last 4 times I've had kJams open. I've just tried again whist typing this out and it quit OK

ok. well, don't bother with the script if kJams is "not responding". and if it *IS* "not responding" just force quit, no need to wait.
