My wife uses kJams Pro with a brand new MacBook Pro 13." The program works well. I'm trying to figure out how to allow one or two seconds between when we hit "Play" and the song starts. Right now, all the songs - ripped from a store bought CDG - cue up fine, but the first second of every song is chopped off. It's as if the songs start with no volume, then a second later the volume kicks in.
I thank you in advance for your help.

I've made one of the songs available by clicking here . The file was a bit too large to upload to the kJams forum. The uploaded song is an mp3 file. It appears to me that when the kJams application imports (rips) the same song from the CD (Party Tyme Karaoke Christmas Party Pack) it converts the song into two files: a zipped file and also an .xml file.
Again, thanks for your help.

sorry, i meant send me the song files that kJams creates, via email, not post it to the forum, and not just send me the mp3.
the zip file contains the MP3 + CDG files, the XML contains the "extra" meta data that doesn't fit into the ID3 tags of the MP3 file.
in any case, i played the MP3 file and heard the whole song, it did not cut off any portion of the music.

ok i got your ZIP+XML, and again there seems to be no problem at all. the song plays from the start, nothing is skipped.
