Losing "Tonight" Lists and "History" Lists for a few singers

Hi.

Everytime I log open kjams, I get a few messages that singer X has lost their Tonight list and a new one has been created and singer Y has lost their history list, etc. I also have lost a few Singers entirely. When I go to add them again and I add "Sean P." then it adds "Sean P. 1" so I assume the record is still there somewhere. I have my system set up where the songs are on an external drive, and the prefs are aliased in. (Set up from the wiki). Is this a problem other people are having? Could it be an issue with keeping everything on the external?

this happens when you share your kjams folders with more than one installation of kJams. new singers are being created that have the same IDs as existing singers. it can also happen if you do a partial rebuild of your kjams library, which is not supported. it is also possible that kjams is choking when reading a corrupted singer and failing to continue to read the rest of the singers. then when it reads the playlists, can't find the singer it belongs to.

you need to clean up the corrupted singers once and for all. we should just get on the fone and i'll fix it for you. are you available tonight?
