yes you can set the tempo slower

You'll find you can speed it up as well, an absolute necessity for tracks like paradise by the dashboard light........ and then everyone laughs instead of crying.

:D i always slow down "ice cream man" by van halen. sounds better a little slower.

It's fun to speed up fast songs, too. "Sold - Grundy County Auction" and "It's the End of the World as We Know It" are actually easier sped up a little bit.
