Send crash report not working

When opening kJams I get a dialog to send a crash report. Choosing to send gives me the following error:

"Fork Timer Error: Unknown Error"

It doesn't seem to affect anything else in kJams (functions normally after). Reproducible. Happens every time I open kJams.

set your network timeout to something large.

it's in the freedb pref panel

let me know if that fixes it

How large is large? It was 30 seconds. I got the same behavior at 360 and 600 seconds. Or do I need to be in the tens of thousands large?
