Adding new singer randomly causes delay

I have noticed variable delays of more than 10 seconds at times when I do the following:

• click on the venue (in the left-hand column of the browser window) to get the list of singers;
• add a new singer to my admittedly long list (230+)

On a couple of occasions, it's taken so long that I began to wonder if it would finish before the current song. I seem to be able to avoid this delay during the show if I click on the venue and add a new singer before a show starts. After the first really long time, it's snappy afterwards. I haven't noticed laggy video during the delay.

Does this sound like the same issue or a different one? If you think it might be different, I'll spend more time trying to figure out how to reproduce it for you. Currently it seems to happen rather randomly.

this sounds like a different issue. Yes i'd very much like to know how to reproduce it. please post your machine and library specs for tracking. (CPU type & speed, OS vers, how much RAM, what else is usually running, how many songs in your library)

The only apps I run during a show are kJams, iTunes, and Safari. I keep all up to date, usually only a couple days behind releases (to make sure there aren't any major issues with the Apple releases).

• 4377 songs
• 266 Singers in venue

okay well keep your eye out for how to reproduce the problem reliably. switching into a playlist with only 200 items in it should be instant
