Problems rolling back to older version

Post by rollins215 »

Hello, I'm running kJams on a G3 iMac (OS X 10.3.9) and hadn't updated for about a year. Recently when I did, I couldn't run it anymore due to the esellerate problem. I tried getting an old version and it worked again (version 48R49) but then got greedy and tried using newer versions from there to make sure I had the latest one that works. Well, unfortunately one of them messed things up to the point that I can no longer open the old working version anymore, everytime I try I first get an error about how kJams crashed recently but is not crashed right now. I hit Ignore to that, then get another error "The application kJams Lite has unexectedly quit." I'm not super swift with Macs (this is the only one I've ever owned and use it only for iTunes and kJams), can someone tell me how I can completely "uninstall" kJams and try again or a solution to this so I can run the old version again? Upgrading to 10.4 just isn't an option for me.

Thanks for any help!

trash your "kJams Library" folder, then go back to the version that you know was working.

sorry i can't really support older versions, and 10.3 is past it's expiration date due to eSellerate fucking us all over.

I tried removing the kJams Library folder, but no dice. :( Is there a registry or something where the previous error is stored that I can clear out or something?
