foreign language music?

Does anyone know a good web site for downloading foreign language music? The recommended sites have a few Spanish songs, but they are very limited, and I'm really looking for more in other European languages (French, Italian, German, Russian in particular). Thanks!

Yes. KaraokeVersion.com has many French and German songs. To see a couple that I put together using kJams Producer have a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqQHk67Yqcs and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVQEZmyieeQ. Some are also available as mp3 + G for $2.99 per track. I put them in a folder called "songs-other sources" in my kJams folder, then drag the files into the kJams library.

They also have some free mp3 + G songs, quite a few in French, though they tend to be children's songs and the like.

(btw, I had to remove the karaoke tracks from YouTube. Have you got any place we can share, Dave?)

Thanks! This is excellent -- is there a way to search by language or to access a list of just songs in one language? I'm having trouble locating non-children's songs here (I tried some popular artists, like Céline Dion, Edith Piaf, etc., and have come up empty-handed...).

**-Ah I've figured it out -- the search box only searches in the MODE you have selected (i.e., CDG separate from WAV separate from MP3). Very tricky!

i am completely baffled by this statement, can you explain?

It is odd. Once you choose the type of files you are looking for, though (mp3, mp3+G, etc), a list appears on the right showing other search options such as French, Dutch, German... Pop, Soul, Blues... etc. Which allows you to search by category.
