Dock and Menu bar vanishes

I don't know if it's my lappy or kjams but when I open kjams the Dock and Menu Bar vanishes. If I click on any other app or even the desktop they come back but as soon as I hit the kjams window they vanish. Help

PS sorry I never got back to you on ichat last Nov but I had a car accident and to be honest I'm still not really up to this.

I was looking for the shortcuts to do what I needed to do and I opened iTunes because some of the shortcuts are the same. I found the shortcut that I needed and went back to kjams and the menu bar and dock had reappeared. Don't know what the problem was. I think it was my lappy.

If this happens again, the magic trick is to do command-zero (apple-0) a couple times.
