Having problem opening new version

Post by Brendan »

I just downloaded the latest version. When the program downloaded , Kjams closed but did not reopen like usual. I tried to open it using the Kjams icon and an error message say "You cannot open the application "Kjams" because it may be damaged or incomplete."

I downloaded the earlier version. Can i toss the one i was using in the trash? Also, i get an error message every other time i try to open the earlier version. It says; "quicktime error: afpaccessdenied, insufficient access priveleges for operation" Any suggestions? :?

The new new one works. Only problem is that before Kjams opens i get this message " Make sure you have write permission for the folder "/library/application support/kjams/". When i click "ok", Kjams opens and works fine. How can i get rid of this message?

umm, you can get rid of the message by making sure you have write permissions on that folder. :)

go to that folder, get info
Image
under "sharing & permissions" click the little lock in lower right, enter your pw
if you are an administrator, set "admin" to "read & write", else set "everyone" to that
