Songs doubled up in rotation

Post by lenskaraoke »

I have 11 venues listed and when I go to the latest venue added the singer named * Len is listed in the rotation even when * Len is unchecked
The reason I use * at the front of the name is to make it fast for me to get to my song list without going through the list alphabetically as it is always the top singer
When I have * Len checked I get each song doubled up in Rotation. After one song has been sung though both references to the song are removed from the Rotation

Sorry I meant to put this in Bug reports so I've edited it with this.

okay i've had a look.

your Venues folder is totally screwed up :(

you have MULTIPLE "Len" singers, some of which are copies, some venues have multiple copies inside them, some have multiple aliases pointing to the same singer. Sometimes you have a "Len" and "Len alias" and "Len Copy" and "*Len Alias" all in the same folder. You just need to clean all that up.

you can NOT have more than one of the SAME singer in the same venue. you should NEVER *duplicate* a singer in the finder, you should only make an alias, and then IMMEDIATELY move that alias out of the folder that contains the original.

OK I know I'm untidy, but I have cleaned it up as ordered.
Thanks for sorting me out
I really don't know how I got myself into such a state.
