I have the series of NuTech SCDG disks, which I believe are multiplex (have vocals in one channel, I think)
I ripped them into kJams, not thinking about it, and now, all the tracks have low level guide vocals by default, and if I select one of the supress vocals options, the guide vocals get *louder*! Is there a super-secret way to rip from a multiplex disc that will remove the guide vocal at ripping time, so I don't have to fecth with it later?
Not a huge issue, as I try to avoid the NuTech line anyway, my other stuff is better quality.
Multiplex
?
send me a song i'll try it here
it's supposed to "just work", suppression works perfectly for me with multiplex tracks.

Sure.
How would you like it *sent* - I have just about every option of file transfer open, including uploading it to a web server and just sending you the link.
:)
sure do that
meh
I think this is my fault. I was either listening to a song with lots of backup vocals in the mix, or was doing something else wrong. Opening the track and suppressing the right channel does seem to be suppressing the lead vocal (although the backup vocals are still not good, but that's NuTech's fault, not yours.)
